Do you feel pregnant? Well for some of ladies symptoms appear on the first week after conception. Earliest symptoms may be fatigue or morning sickness. While knowing exactly if you are pregnant is through pregnancy tests, there are other symptoms which might give you a clue of being pregnant.
1. Missed Period
Missing a period from your regular circle of menstruation is a common indication to most women knowing they are pregnant. Sometimes its not the appropriate answer for being pregnant. It may be a delayed period. It may happen due to body hormonal changes and many other factors accounting for menstruation circle.
2. Swollen Breasts
Breast enlargement may occur between the fourth and sixth week. This is due to hormonal changes taking place in the body. But normally this goes away after some few weeks when the body adjusts to the changes. Later after 3 month breasts changes continuously by slowly enlarging and getting fuller till the day of giving birth.
3. Cramping and slight bleeding
This maybe mistaken by a regular bleeding. It normally happens between 10 – 14 days after conception. It happens when a fertilized egg attaches on the wall of the uterus. The fertilized egg creates a blastocyst (fluid sack) that will develop baby’s organs.
Fatigue is also an early symptom. This is because of the rise in progesterone hormone. The rise in hormone it leads lower blood pressure, lowers blood sugar and increased blood production. This combination is very enough to put someone to sleep.
5. Raised Body Temperature
Body temperature is most likely to rise. In this period you are advised to be drinking enough water together with doing regular exercises.
6. Rise in heart rate
Normally during the 8th to 10th week the heart begins to pump unusual. The heart starts pumping faster because of the rise in progesterone hormones.
7. Mood swings
The changes in rise of hormones in the body can make you behave in an unusual manner. This is very common in the first trimester.
8. Nausea with or without Vomiting
Normally this tendency happens after two weeks of fertilization. This is because of the rise in estrogen hormones. It has a characteristic of affecting digestive system by slowing down together with rising the sense of smell on pregnant women. This inturns leads to nausea and sometimes vomiting.
As explained before the rise of estrogen and progesterone hormones affects digestive system by slowing down. With this being the factor, constipation is likely to occur.
10. Weight Gain
Weight gain in early pregnancy normally starts at the end of first trimester. You may gain weight from 1 to 5 pounds in the first few month. Later the weight will be splitting on breasts, uterus, placenta and on increased blood in the circulatory system.
